Questions Answered

I have been asked a couple of questions, here are the answers, in case you were also wondering.

Q: Where are the player pictures?
A: Unfortunately my color printer broke, that project died with the printer.

Q: What is with the announcer at the games?
A: It started as just test of the PA system in the gym, as we will need to use it for the Young Men's Tournament, but in using it we realized that by having the scorekeeper announces the fouls it is a good way for the referee to confirm that the scorekeeper is awarding the foul to the right player, and to keep coaches informed on the personal foul and team foul situation.

How standings are figured

Standings will be determined through a points system, which takes into account the won-loss record of a team, and sportsmanship points. Two sets of Sportsmanship points will be awarded, one from the referee team, and one from your opponent.
1. Win: 7 points
2. Loss: 2 points
3. Tie: 5 points
4. Forfeit: 0 points
5. Pre-arranged forfeit: 2 points
6. Opponent awarded Sportsmanship points: 0 to 4 points
7. Referee awarded Sportsmanship points: 0 to 4 points

A team whose opponent forfeits will receive the average sportsmanship points that they have gotten over the last 3 games, individually rounded up.

IMPORTANT- Due to their second forfeit, Troy Ward has been dropped from the schedule.
